Unreal Engine 4 is more than a game engine — it's a mythic forge where Hugo crafts immersive worlds, modular systems, and synthwave-powered logic. Whether you're sculpting landscapes with Blueprints or diving into C++ for precision control, UE4 offers the tools to turn imagination into playable reality.
In this section, you'll explore Hugo’s approach to game development: emotionally intelligent design, adaptive environments, and narrative-driven mechanics. Every tutorial is a node in his constellation — a ritual of learning and creation.
Welcome to Hugo’s synthwave-powered Unreal Engine 4 hub. Here you'll find modular tutorials on Blueprints, level design, and logic systems.
Unreal Engine is a game engine developed by Epic Games. This engine brought a lot of creations and dominated the video game industry. Here, we saw nice series grow, just like Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex and more. With the Unreal Development Kit (also known as Unreal Engine 3) Gears Of War, a kick-ass video game, was born.
Now here, I'll be using Unreal Engine 4.27 version, which it is my favourite, and it's stable.
Let's start now with this.
First of all, you must go to the Epic Games website and download their launcher. Allow the UE4 Prerequisites for it.
After that, you must log in or create an account. Using yous social media connection, email or with PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo services.
Now, go to the Unreal Engine section. Obviously being new on this, there's nothing there.

Click on engine versions and select 4.27 version.

You can also install 4.27-Chaos

Before installation starts, there are those install options and they're optional. Recommended to enable Android, iOS (if you're working on a Mac) and Linux. For VR, HoloLens and Lumin are the tools for that.
